Quester Mining™

Quester Mining is our analytic approach often included with Quester Inside. Our trained linguistic analysts review open ended responses and identify the key themes communicated within the responses. Quester Mining can also be tied to existing open ended data from a survey that wasn’t using Quester Inside, or it can be used on unstructured text.

Quester Mining deliverables are focused on developing a series of conclusions based upon the qualitative responses. When we are working with a research partner, we understand our open ends are part of a larger research report, so we work with the research supplier to contextualize the findings. We do this by interacting with the supplier regarding the overall research results and sharing what we are seeing in the context of the open ends.

We have standard ways of looking at our qualitative information from written summaries, quantitative counts to deeply visual presentations. However, our preference is to clearly and succinctly communicate the five to 10 major insights within the open ends.

As with our other applications, we want our results to be an extension of the research team working on the project. We want to develop our results in the same voice and tone as the entire report, and we strive to go beyond factual, data reporting to insightful recommendations.
