Socrates can conduct 10 to 60 minute conversations one-on-one over the internet with your customers. Our software was developed using our rich history in qualitative interviewing, and so it mirrors the interaction between a seasoned moderator and one of your most important customers.
Socrates IDIs start with a discussion guide developed in conjunction with our clients. We can overlay both quantitative questions and open ended topic discussions. From there we finalize our guide and collect hundreds, if not thousands of responses – giving our results a much more reliable sample base with the richness of qualitative.
Our Socrates IDIs are then taken through our linguistic analysis process, where our analysts use our text processing software to identify the key insights and implications within the conversations. Our designs and reports are built custom to the research objectives and we use your essential feedback to create a report that is tailored to be implemented within your organization.
Our deliverables really do start with your objectives. Our large samples and rich exchanges create an extraordinary number of data points. However, our goal is not to drown you in data. Most companies code qualitative responses, and create new data points to analyze. We answer the research questions. Our goals are simple. Be succinct, forceful and clear communicating the insights identified in our report. We deliver draft findings early to get your feedback and a deeper organizational understanding. And, we want to over time reduce the need for you to make our findings organization ready.
We want to be an extension of your department, so we want our deliverables to look, feel and be adapted as if you created them yourself.
Once you’ve used Socrates IDIs to achieve your research objectives, you’ll realize that qualitative will never be the same again. Consider these types of applications for Socrates IDIs:
