Based in Kansas City, Allen brings extensive market research experience working in a range of client-side companies including Coca-Cola, Armor All, Sprint and Hallmark. He is known for his ability to balance between strategic insights and tactical application and to frame shopper issues in a meaningful and actionable way using his analytic and communication skills.
Allen is an avid history buff and traveler – two addictions that were well satisfied during his time living/working overseas (UK) with his wife and daughter. In the UK he managed an international research team for four-plus years. He also enjoys annual trips with his buddies to Colorado to camp, hike 14ers and visit breweries … trips that his accommodating wife, Claudia (an avowed “city mouse”), is apparently glad to not have to make with him.
Allen’s key passions are learning, facing new challenges and solving tough questions – whether in his personal hobbies or as he tackles research questions with his partners.
