Quester Adds David Guenthner to Their Client Services Team

DES MOINES, IOWA (January 22, 2016) – Quester, the marketing research leader in harnessing the power of conversation, has added David Guenthner, formerly the Senior Director of Walmart’s Global Customer Insights and Analytics group, to their growing team. As Vice President of Client Services, Guenthner will take on a pivotal role consulting with an inside-out view of how major U.S. and international corporations can convert consumers’ experiences and conversations into strategic and revenue-building business decisions.

While with Walmart, Guenthner was responsible for supporting various functions and buyer groups spanning scores of product categories including pharmacy, home decor, hardware, apparel, and food. His areas of specialization included developing category and product quality cues, brand messaging, customer segmentations, and understanding the drivers of choice of a retailer in various contexts. In light of his contributions, he was honored twice with a David Ogilvy Award for Excellence in Advertising Research in Retail. Prior to joining Walmart in 2006, Guenthner spent a decade working in various marketing research and insights roles at PepsiCo and General Mills.

David holds a BA and a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin and an MS in Marketing Research from the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s A.C. Nielsen Center for Marketing Research where he now serves as a Member of its External Advisory Board. David will be located in Bentonville, Arkansas where he resides with his wife and three children.
